Linking to external systems

For systems that Dazychain does not currently integrate with through an API, Dazychain can still support practical connection through links.

A Dazychain matter can include a link to a relevant external system or record.

For example:

An HR matter can include a link to the relevant employee record in the HRIS
A payroll matter can include a link to the relevant employee or payroll record
A recruitment matter can include a link to a candidate, role or approval record
A legal matter can include a link to a contract record, policy system or document location
A compliance matter can include a link to a risk, audit or governance record

This means Dazychain can act as the operational matter file while helping users navigate quickly to the relevant external system.

HRIS and HCM systems

Dazychain can support links to HRIS or HCM records, including default links or web links added to a matter.

This is useful because HR teams often need to manage work around an employee record without duplicating the HRIS itself.

Your HRIS remains the system of record for employee data, such as name, address, employment duration, or employment contract type.

Dazychain HR becomes the system for managing the employee matter, case, workflow, documents, tasks, decisions, audit trail and reporting.

HRIS integration roadmap

API-based HRIS integrations are available on request, and the integration is handled on a case-by-case basis.

Dazychain’s integration capability is expected to expand over time, particularly for organisations that want deeper connection between HRIS records and HR case management workflows.

Dazychain can currently provide practical linking options so HR teams can move between the Dazychain matter and relevant external HRIS records immediately and at no extra charge.

The Outlook add-in enables you to file emails (and attachments) directly into Dazychain without leaving your inbox. To file an email or attachment in Dazychain, click on the Dazychain add-in, search for or select the matter and send. The email and its attachments are then stored in the correct matter record in Dazychain, keeping correspondence organised and accessible for the whole team.
