Helping your company make the most of Dazychain

Weaving a robust platform such as Dazychain into the fabric of a company’s practice requires careful orchestration. While Dazychain’s appeal is reorganisation and optimisation, such dramatic restructuring comes with unique challenges. Facing these challenges is second nature to Natalie Wong, Operations Manager at Yarris, whose job, by definition, involves the unification of many disparate functions. “‘Operations Manager’ can mean almost anything,” Wong says with a laugh. “I handle the interplay between our lead generation system and Salesforce CRM system, as well as implementation on the client’s side.” Achieving harmony within and without the company is the essence of Wong’s role.

Nowhere is this better seen than in Yarris’s ongoing commitment to customer integration with Dazychain, a service Wong participates in directly. “I look after a lot of the implementation process, from onboarding clients to teaching them how they can best utilise Dazychain.” Every new Dazychain client receives personalised consultation, often from Wong herself, over several distinct sessions. “First we have a kickoff session where we get familiar with our client, introduce what we’re going to be doing, who we are, what the process is… because our program restructures the way clients work and behave, helping them feel comfortable with the change they’re about to make is so important.”

Following introductions comes a business discovery session to determine how a company can benefit the most from Dazychain. “Because the application is completely bespoke in what it collects, we need to know everything about our customers: what work they’re doing, what data points are relevant to them, what they’re trying to report, who they’re trying to report to, so we can customise Dazychain to really reflect what they’re doing as business.” Since Dazychain’s prime function is workflow innovation, the business discovery session isn’t mere training, says Wong: “It’s a whole learning experience. As opposed to the more functional side of things, we talk about the actual theory of change and how people can best take advantage of the program’s structure. It takes a shift in approach to get the maximum benefit.”

But despite Dazychain’s reputation for change, many clients find the program comfortable and intuitive right away. “On a recent business discovery session I did, we went through the training and saw that some people were already putting in their work. The manager noticed right away; he didn’t have to ask where the information was, or whether each worker had what they needed. At a glance, he could see in the system that matters were being created, added, updated. So, that was time and interaction he didn’t have to spend because the information was already there.”

Ultimately, Dazychain’s full value is determined by its users, a fact that Yarris benefits from, as well. After a client starts running their workflows through Dazychain, noting potential money- and time-saving opportunities, “they can come back to us with new data fields and filters they want to see implemented. It puts the power back in their hands for managing their work,” as well as giving Yarris valuable user feedback for further improvements. Through intensive customer service, Wong and her team help Dazychain clients to help themselves, producing a more harmonious approach to effort and efficiency.
